Zoo Trip #14: Bristol Zoo

The temptation to choose the lion cubs again for this month's zoo picture was easily avoided, as neither of them put in an appearance, although both parents were basking in th sun. Quite a few of the animals had made themselves scarce and I didn't see any red pandas or otters this time. On the other hand the walk-through lemur garden was open, populated by a number of inquisitive ring-tailed lemurs, and was being visited by a wedding party including the happy couple.

I decided to be a little more experimental and chose this shot taken from the fur seal enclosure. There is an underground observation area, and this was taken looking down into it through the water from above the surface.

I have included some links to alternative shots that include animals - to do otherwise after a zoo visit seems improper. There's also a link to what will in a short while become the full Flickr set.
