Sunday 31 July 2011: In flight meal...
Took the dogs for a walk around Cammo early this afternoon so took the macro with me in search of beasties and wildflowers. Preferably both together. First time I've been up here for a while and it's nice and overgrown just now.
It's such a good place to explore and it's prime hunting ground for the macro photographer. You just need to get a bit with a little shelter from the wind, plenty plant life and keep your eyes peeled.
Stalked this little hoverfly for ages at the patch of willowherb, got a stack of shots but this was the best of the in-flight ones.
On holiday for the next 2 weeks so can see me back here a few times.
