Friday 2 February 2007: Blue sky days
Lovely day in the country today, so took the boys (that's the dogs to you) on a longer explore via the Farm Shop which sells exceedingly good carrot cake.
Missed another deer photo because the dogs spooked the deer before I saw it - happens about twice a week, so I have yet to get a nice deer shot. (Almost a great shot of deer springing across a field, except all but its hind legs are hidden by a hedge.)
Nearly lost the boys altogether when a hare tore across our path 5 minutes later. They both had heads down and ears closed to me as they took up the chase. Luckily the hare dived under a dog-proof fence on the other side of the field, or I might still be looking for them now...
