Summer days away - vol 3

A little after 8:30 pm and look at the sun doing it's hiding-behind-the-mountain thing.

It's been a beautiful day.

Warm, calm, bright and clear.

I spent the morning learning how to use a petrol lawnmower (I did look for the manual, but resisted the temptation to go online and look for one), then cutting the grass around the place we're staying (part of the deal, but not one to complain about).

This afternoon we headed on the Speyside Steam Railway service from Aviemore to Bowhill and back, in a cheeky wee first class cabin with afternoon tea and everything. It was great. A real treat.

Then back home via a playpark and a quick look at an exhibition by James Gordon (website).

We had a great time mucking about in the warm evening sun together before the weeWeir went to bed too.

Marvellous.
