The Best DeAnne Smith She Can Be

Went to see a couple of shows this evening - both free courtesy of TheatreNinjas

The first was DeAnne Smith, who did a delightful stand-up set entitled The Best Deanne Smith She Can Be at Teviot/Guilded Balloon. Really excellent - definitely my "new discovery" of the 2011 Fringe so far. If you get the chance to go and see her, I'd recommend you take it.

We also saw Matthew Highton in a show called Shadowed Vagary. It was very, very surreal but in a rather charming way and I laughed all the way through. To me this sort of show is what the Fringe is all about. It's the sort of thing you don't get the chance to see elsewhere! I'd recommend it if you're looking for something a bit different...
