Evening all,

this wasn't the photo i had planned to post today, but as Mr Blip didn't seem to want to connect with my computer, i gave up for a bit and went for a different photo (and a cup of coffee, a sleep and booze!)

The girls went for a late bodyboard session, and i have to say i sadly dipped out and decided rather than get suited up and get wet, i'd take some photos of them 'fighting the blue'.

Rather bizzarely despite my attempts to keep dry, i soon found myself standing knee deep in water, shoes socks and trousers all sodden from the advancing waves...

i advised the waves to desist, but sadly Canute and i share the same lack of control of the elements, and then to top it off i got totally wiped out by a girl on a bodyboard who chopped me off at the knees and gave me a free wave free dip in the sea.....

This is them sans bodyboards, beginning the first leg of their training to swim out to the Farne island light house before their sodden photographer catches them !!!!
