Tuesday 9 August 2011: I've a confession to make.
My name is Cameron, and I like trains!
There, I've said it.
However, I am not a 'train-spotter' - nor have I ever stood on a platform with a notebook, or ever owned an anorak.
Steam trains do float my boat, and at the National Rail Museum in York there is an awesome collection.
This is the Mallard
I come from a railway family: my grandfather drove a steam loco (Fairburn tender 42441 if you're interested), my father, his brother, my mother and her brother all spent their entire working life in the BR family, or their Clyde steamer operations (Caledonian Steam Packet Co - how's that for a name?)
