ART WALK FOR HUMAN RIGHTS WATCH # 2

There will be people that don?t know his name, but they certainly know his work. Shepard Fairey is the man behind the HOPE PORTRAIT OF OBAMA that became the iconic image of the presidential campaign.

Now SHEPARD FAIRE AND HIS TEAM have made ?Peace? in Oslo, a memorial mural to honor the victims of the terror of July 22. Here it is uncovered by two workers.

Fairey started his art career by decorating skateboards, and has the last 20 years produced a wide range of artwork from screenprints, mix media stencil collage, to large mural installations. His work is included in the collections at The Smithsonian, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
