Working Watermill

This is the watermill in Blair Atholl. Through the window at the back on the right is the waterwheel, which turns the millstone upstairs. The ground flour is shaken in the wooden box in the middle and the flour pours into the hopper and sack on the left. The miller showed us examples of the diferent grades of flour.

The tea shop (which I mentioned yesterday) sells home made bread, cakes and scones as well as bags of all the different flours which can be used for baking. We bought a loaf this morning and had some with our breakfast and have returned this afternoon for tea, cake & the free wifi!
