Friday 12 August 2011: The Loneliness...
...of the lone kayaker . Though , in the interests of accuracy, I should note that there were two others a little behind him as they passed Rhubodach . I was waiting for the ferry across to Colintraive, and this shot reflects the grayness of the day.
The view is down the Kyles of Bute towards the Ayrshire coast, which is a presence behind damp cloud. The promontory on the left is Toward Point on the Cowal mainland, and on the right Ardmaleish on Bute.
