Serendipity

This is where we saw the whales! After driving out to the point to eat our fresh blueberries and cereal, we wandered over to the edge of the cliffs to watch the fog lift. Long grey horizontal rocks line the coast, except that some of the rocks turn out to be fine grey whales spouting and diving and slapping the water with their big forked black tails. What a wonder and how blessed I always feel to see animals in their habitat; we are the only people in the universe to see these whales in this spot at this moment and I just light up inside.
