Friday 25 April 2008: Bay of Terschelling
The Bay of Terschelling with the lighthouse Brandaris in the background. Yesterday, a comment said that he missed the education of the sea in my pictures onshore. Maybe so, but to be here is a perfect balance with the often harsh and hurried offshore industry. Time is money there and waiting for the sun to go down over the place here where I live is just the opposite from the offshore environment. Besides all other aspects, five weeks at sea and five at home is, for me, a perfect way to find both rest and energy.
