Matilda & Maximilian sharing a secret in the sunshine was a very sweet sight today.

Have to say we did worry how sausage boy would get on with the chooks but he seemed from very early on to act as if we had bought him some new friends. He often follows them around the garden then lies there as they scratch around him. Although he does have an annoying habit of giving them a little bark so that they follow him then he tries to smuggle them into the house.

Still feels slightly strange that the roast chicken stuffed with a lemon, and home grown garlic, rosemary & thyme was so enjoyable for dinner today :-)
