Wonderful Morning!

Dear Oliver,

I'm thinking of starting a website, where people can get in touch with those they have loved from afar. A place where people can declare their feelings in the hope they may get noticed and reciprocated.

Love Unrequited.

It seems to have a certain ring to it, a familiarity perhaps?

My first post, and there would be many would go something like this...

Oliver, you were so close, yet absolutely out of reach. Your blond urchin hair cut would have been sufficient to make my pulse beat faster, but when you leaned out of that window and sang... 'Who will buy this Wonderful Morning'
...my tummy did things, I didn't know tummies could do, I blushed, I stared, I sighed. There was no hope for me. I longed for you.
I was just seven years old and Oliver Twist, you were my first true love.

I'm guessing that O.T. may have been your stage name, but anyway, it was a proper Lionel Bart production in a London Theatre, so I'm sure you know who you are. You may have noticed me in the audience, sitting star-struck with my brother and Mum and Dad, yes, thats right I was the one with the pink NHS glasses

Unrequited love has been a specialist subject of mine ever since.

Oh! And by the way, if you want to know how the blind date went (see first entry) you'll have to wait until tomorrow.......
