Sgwarnog: In the Field

Goring Mill

Back on the Thames, which at this rate will be overtaking the Wharfe and the Aire as my most blipped rivers.

We popped down to Goring on a quick geocaching mission, finding four more, including our first two nano-caches, which are tiny. Otherwise, we just watchd boats and barges going through Goring Lock on the way up and down river, and ambled around the village.

This spot is a small basin next to Goring Mill, which is the building behind. The barge is Brindley of Goring Mill.

Turner painted this spot, although it looks like he was the other side of the river.
