Thursday 18 August 2011: Glasgow?

Brad Pitt is in town filming a zombie movie called World War Z. A section of Glasgow city centre has been transformed to look like Philadelphia, and very impressive it is too. The US style signage gives the streets a very different feel, as do the lines of Philadelphia police cars and yellow cabs parked alongside George Square.

We didn't catch any glimpse of Brad but there was some filming going on, well away from the crowds of course. There were some very loud explosions and I'm told there will be car chases at some point. Would love to shoot those!
