Saturday 20 August 2011: 5 sleeps to go ...
I bought all the wedding cake bits today, spent a fortune on what looks like nothing in Hobbycraft BUT I've got a reuseable piping bag with nozzles and a letter guide thing - both will be used over and over as I make and decorate at least 3 cakes a year! After that I went to ASDA to go get the ingredients needed to bake the cake .. that's my task for Tuesday evening, bake the cake, cover it and .. depending on tiredness, either decorate that night or do that on Wednesday .. with the children around .. perhaps it'll be a late one on Tuesday then!
But the first job which I desperately need to finish is to re-hem my dress! I'm about 2/3rds of the way through but just need to do that final part and the dress is ready!
Storm was sick last night. Twice. Proper big girl lumpy vomit. Sorry, I hate vomit so I had to share the pain. I threw all her bedding into the garden to sort later, however bad / lazy that sounds. I did not want to be up until 2am cleaning bedding. So I sorted it and it's all laying fresh on her bed now!
Anyway, on that note .. I'm going to procrastinate on the dress and design my wedding cake .. I'll do the dress a little bit later! :)
