Dream Cruise 2011

Today was the official cruisin' day for the Woodward Dream Cruise. This is the final shot of a week of auto/cruisin' shots. It's been fun.

This a shot of the gridlock on Woodward today. I took this in Birmingham, MI USA. B'ham doesn't officially take part in the event (long story) but there was still plenty to see. I'm sure the crowds were bigger farther south on Woodward but this shot still captures a lot of the variety of vehicles and the insanity of people in lawn chairs on the side of the road watching the cars go by.

We had some storms roll through in the early afternoon that caused things to wrap up earlier than normal but all in all it was a great week for the car enthusiasts and people watchers alike.
