It's all on...........

Did some domestic chores this morning, headed to school to do my relief for next week whilst I'm away then headed to the courts where the tournament is to be held.

Teams started arriving mid afternoon and it wasn't too long before there was an expectant buzz around the place. Some teams have driven over 700kms to be here. They've split the journey over 2 days - travelling big distances in a minibus is no fun afterall! The decision to move the tournament from the quake ravaged Christchurch up here to Nelson has obviously had a big impact on all those teams from further south who have now had to travel much greater distances, taking much longer - and costing much more.

The good thing about the move though is that all the Christchurch people should be able to enjoy a rumble-free, snow free week in the warm, almost spring sunshine. It's going to be a great week.

And the blip? A(nother) N.O.T.L.M.B. - one of the tournamnet cups. I wonder who will be holding this one by Thursday afternoon?
