Monday 22 August 2011: For June
June Shirley Dunkerley 8 May 1929 - 10 August 2011. Wife to Don, mother to William, Andrew and my dear friend Gill. A woman who loved her family, travelling and most of all a party and the company of good people. An opinionated, intelligent and talented woman who will not be forgotten.
The purpose of my trip to Sydney was two fold. My nephew's 10th birthday family dinner on Saturday night and June Shirley's funeral today. She had a good send off, I think she would have been pleased.
