Tourist Season

The tourist season has started. Not only a lot of tourists are visiting the island, also many classical and antique sailing vessels visiting Terschelling almost on a weekly basis with loads of youth. On the picture you can see a three mast clipper with late christmas sentiment in her masts. On the foreground a more sophisticated tourist just left the last ferry with his own car. 4.600 souls in wintertime, 40.000 in the summer, that's more or less the balance between islanders and tourists.
