Anigozanthos. Very festive, but even the department stores haven't started in with Christmas sales yet. Back-to-school is the holiday du jour, and then I think comes Halloween. We skip Thanksgiving altogether and go straight to what is called in some circles The December Holiday. But right now in this wonderful long-awaited heat of a summer afternoon, red and green look refreshing and just fine.
