Flowers in the Rain

The rain arrived today and I went out to cut my second bunch of Sweet Peas since returning from holiday. I love these little flowers and think they are enhanced by the rain drops. Until I was focusing to take the photograph I hadn't noticed the striped purple flowers - this became the main focus of my blip as they are so unusual.

'Flowers in he Rain' - anybody remember the song by The Move? The first record to be played on Radio 1 in 1960 something ?? Someone even older than me will be able to fill in the exact date!
