Peninsula Light

So this is what's hidden behind all that ivy. Near totally hidden, and yet you could almost fit a truck through here.

It took three attempts to get this shot, and that was after a couple of tests to establish the correct exposure. Set the camera to the longest timer delay of twenty seconds. Push the shutter release button, and dash over to the ivy. On the first go, I missed the button in the dark.... and nothing happened. Darn! Second: ivy was moving, and blurred, plus the subject (moi) wasn't clear enough. Third: looks okay to me, and gives a sense of scale (I'm about six foot two).

My first SP! You don't want more detail, trust me...

(Edit - Well done Christine! It is a bridge for the former railway line on the Black Isle. It's a fair length, so could be classed as a tunnel. The other end isn't covered by ivy, but it's a bit of an overgrown wilderness there. Probably a great place for children to have all sorts of adventures... or maybe they don't do that sort of thing these days. Another of the railway bridges.)
