The Scottish Lugger

A long day at the interface, but things improved in the evening when Sands popped in to Leith for a visit (we just couldn't keep meeting like this!). Where else to go but unto the Vaults? Only DaveH went for the handcut chips tonight but he couldn't manage them all. I did take a photo of the solitary chip he left in honour of the absent Sam but I felt it was too poignant to blip. It was an excellent mini blip-meet, curtailed only by having to work tomorrow and lacking the stamina of one's youth. (Who he?)

It's been a while since D's birthday, but I note that he still hasn't found the right place for The Scottish Lugger. (There are two types characteristic of the Scottish coast - the "Fife" and the "Zulu" - used for herring and, in winter, "white fishing".)
