Col Buntings Vincent Black Shadow

My friend, Col Bunting bought this Black Shadow, second hand, in 1960. Col has travelled about 200,000 miles all up on it - including the middle east and most of Europe. About 6 years ago, he embarked on a total restoration. Here is the beauty looking like it did when it was new in 1953. It took blood, sweat and tears (and Col's superb engineering talents).
It's a magnificent example of this amazing bike, that - when they came out in 1949 -would achieve 125 mph, stock standard. That's still VERY fast in 2011. Phil Vincent, the futuristic Australian motorcycle designer set the standards that would be state of the art for many decades.
Good on you, Col, for sticking with this noble project. We're all proud of you.
