Lindisfarne Castle

The causeway was clear from 09:15 according to the Tide-Tables.

We headed down there for that time and the causeway was well clear of the water.

We went across and parked in the main car park.

Therry looked after the dogs while I pottered around with the camera.

A couple of shots of the Priory, a few of the "Boat-Sheds" which are upturned hulls, chopped in half and used as sheds.

A few of the classic views of the castle and a couple more of Bamburgh Castle.

We then departed as it was becoming rather busy.

We headed off to meet up with my parents and my brother and his family who were holidaying just up the road.

We then went to Bamburgh beach with my parents and nephew to walk/run the dogs.

They had a great time chasing toys in and out of the sea.

Some lovely views of the Farne Islands.
