Facelift
The Underground is York University's largest restaurant It has five distinct sections for different kinds of functions and purposes. Last year, part of it underwent a reno due to an external water main break and subsequent flood. The remainder underwent a facelift this summer. It's looking quite nice compared to the old look. This view is into the pub area from a window in a passageway to the large event room where we are holding day two of the international student orientations. What a great bunch of young people from around the world! We do our "show" (information session), feed them, break the ice, draw for prizes, and make them feel welcome and at home away from home.
