Friday 2 September 2011: Monitored ...
31 weeks and our little baby is back on the monitor in hospital. I had pains again a couple of night's ago & have been bit concerned about baby's movements since then. Although present, they just seemed suddenly 'subdued' and I have really not been able to shake feeling that baby is not growing.
Well, the readings showed, to my enormous relief, that baby is happy enough in there.
But small, really quite small.
They have placed a request for an immediate growth scan, unfortunately the Dept is closed over weekend, but I will hear on Monday when I will be scanned.
And it can't come soon enough.
The midwife that delivered Finlay looked after me tonight. That was reassuring & I was touched that she remembered.
I'm talking to our baby lots and by stroking my bump, we communicate together in the most gorgeous way. I want our baby to feel & know how much we love it, cherish it and how much I want to carry it safely & healthily to term.
We love you, little one. We truly, truly do.
