Waka on the Wairoa

Ngati Ranginui had an event on down at the river today. No idea what was going on , A hundred or so people gathered , obviously a feed to be had and certainly the highlight was the waka coming up river, don't know if it's a haka from in the boat but it sounded like one. Greeting from the shore , a circuit and then this beasty came in to land. My good fortune to be coming home at the time and spot this in time to stop and watch the show.
