The Grand Canyon

Spent the morning driving through the Grand Canyon National Park. It was raining when we arrived, but soon the sun started shining again. I never knew that the Grand Canyon was so deep (1800m)! It is very impressive!

Of course this is only a small part of the Canyon, because the whole Canyon is 446 km long! Down below you can see the Colorado River who helped to create the Grand Canyon.

Around 15h00 we started our drive to Phoenix. It was great to see all the cactusses in the desert along the way!
