Sunday 4 September 2011: The Shadows
Late nights and too much food and drink left us feeling like shadows of ourselves today.
After a bit of general shouting at each other, I packed up the Discozebo and took Bella off for another riding lesson, after which Layla took us on a fruitless mission to LIDL for a fruit canning machine. I did however get a bit of a bargain on an athletic compression top which makes me look positively buff, even after the fish and chips we ate for dinner.
Less than a week to the big Glasgow to Edinburgh bike ride... and I think I've just found out I have cycle to the other side of Edinburgh for 6am to get a bus through to the start. Which isn't too appealing. Perhaps an athletic compression top will help.
