Jenson Button

Got to see JB drive his 2008 Formula 1 car down Deansgate in Manchester today. It was a cold wet day for the drive but he likes to race in conditions like this so we knew it was definitely game on.

We arrived in Manchester very early to get a good viewing spot. Got right near the start finish line as wanted to hear the engine start up and accelerate very quickly. Also got to see JB drive some competition winners in the new MP4 12C car too, what a fantastic piece of kit it is... Managed to get this picture of him when he is about to climb into his F1 car for the main event of the day. Had to use the full zoom on the Lumix to get this close and cropped it slightly but am really pleased with the finished image.

Had a fantastic day overall as managed to get his autograph on the t shirt we purchased on Saturday. One of the even team asked him to sign it for us. Of course you know i had to do it, i made a bookmark card for him and a bracelet for his girlfriend JM... He'll probably never use the bookmark and JM will probably give the bracelet away but i can daydream that they liked their small offerings from two loyal and happy fans.
