Monday 5 September 2011: Bigot since 1913

Left Sarlat this morning.
In Amboise by mid-afternoon.
Beautiful river.
Nice feel to the place.
Walked past Da Vinci's house.*
Saw the best toupee ever made.
Had a beer at a cafe opposite a pastry shop called Bigot.**
Best bit of the day though, was discovering that the french term for shower cap is Bonnet de Douche.
Break in proceedings now.
Dinner soon.
I'll be in the chateau.***

**Might have to go there tomorrow for some caramels.
***The one in which the rooms have bedspreads and curtains that match the wallpaper.
