Sunday 4 September 2011: COYOTE

Last week it was a trip to the southeastern part of the province where there is nothing but rolling hills and bald prairie. This weekend a complete 180 not only to the east central part of the province but to the boreal forest.

This coyote was seen at the edge of the highway. Usually very shy he laid there and let us take several pictures until he decided he had had enough and scampered off into the trees.
