Wednesday 24 August 2011: Sundial
We were walking through the pretty village of Chilhac when I spotted this sundial high up on a wall.
It shows 4pm, my camera says the picture was taken at 4:30pm (BST), so the local time in France would have been with day light saving 5:30pm. The sundial could date from before day light savings.
It's not as accurate as an atomic clock but it's a lot more fun!
