Wednesday 7 September 2011: Ended
I dedicate this to the poor 15 year old who ended his life this morning by jumping off the cliff at King Edward Park. It was such a beautiful morning to end such a young life on. I had taken the dogs to the park shortly after taking this photo. I did not see him jump as he would have been out of my view but knew something was up when the ambulance and police arrived. My thoughts are with these people who had to recover the body from the rock platform below and who had to tell his relatives. Mental illness is such a cruel disease. It has strangely affected me today. Time to give the loved ones a big hug.
