Take a gander

Down by the loch, the Kirkgate park, was redeveloped last year.
The wood sculpters made three pieces to live in harmony with the nature reserve. They did them as we stood watching in the rain, but that was before I knew about blip, so the pics are stashed away.
They are joined every winter by thousands of geese who fatten up on the crops in the fields surrounding the loch. The farmers have got wise and now they grow turf and have flying grass mowers for free.
