Autumn Moonrise

This is one of my favourite spots around Letchworth. The village of Willian is just a couple of miles to the South of the centre of town. It has a post office/general store, two pubs and and a fishing pond. It is idyllic as long as you have a car to get to civilisation easily.

The past few days have had fantastic yellow/pink/orange sunsets, so tonight I made tea early and set off. Lo and behold - no colourful sunset. But the moon was pretty full above the church so here we have it.
