Saturday 10 September 2011: Sandwood Bay, NW Scotland

A wild afternoon down on the beach at the John Muir Trust property of Sandwood Bay, a wild sand dune and cliff area, a 10 mile round trip walk from the nearest road. The surf was enormous, piled up even higher by a strong offshore wind.
