Saturday 10 September 2011: Wings of Hope
The Wings of Hope butterfly release event was sponsored by our local Cancer Support Community. It has been an annual event for four years but it's the first time we have attended. The event included speakers, a young girl who wrote and sang a song she wrote for her sister (a pediatric cancer survivor), and, of course, the release of 250 monarch butterflies.
