Monday 12 September 2011: Before the storm
Big day today. A bunch of new researchers starting work. Team meetings galore. Team drinks and dinner tonight.
And a hurricane called Katia to survive. Had to leave the bike at home today because I don't think I can risk cycling down Leith Walk in 50 mph winds.
Today's funny story? One of my new researchers - full of energy and new ideas - is named Katja.
