American Snout

I took out my 105 mm lens again and found the American Snouts to be even more beautiful. Since they love the sweet juice in the stems of the Mexican Bird of Paradise, it makes a good background. The background are the buds that are soon to open. I have posted a mating photo of these wonderful butterflies in my Nature Shots Blipfolio.
