Release the floodgates...

In this first month or so of Bethany's schooling, details have been a bit hard to come by. "Can't remember!", "I don't know..." are the usual responses.

Tonight after story and song times, Bethany was getting a wee bit upset about school. There's been a few things that have got to her which is not surprising considering the big change that it represents. Tonight she was telling me about her being left in the dinner hall because she can't eat her lunch as fast as some of her friends.

I got a very detailled and rather overwhelming insight into the inner working of her school day. Well I managed to get the low down on the morning up to lunchtime and she's promised me the afternoon rundown tomorrow.

We've decided that a smaller sandwich may be a solution to the issue which she was quite happy with.

Notes on the Picture...
We went for a wee blowy cusp of winter walk tonight and ran into this little felly parading around the park. Looks slightly threatening but I think he'd just cut a couple of eyeholes into his bunnet and was messing about with his friends blethering in some put on foreign accent.
