Wednesday 14 September 2011: In praise of portakabins
Well, maybe it isn't strictly a portakabin, but it is certainly a prefabricated building.
I had to venture to Kings Buildings for a meeting this afternoon. Definitely out of the comfort zone for someone like me. What I find hard to understand is why anyone would bother actually to give a formal name to a building like this. Clearly it's intended to last for years.
