Wednesday 14 September 2011: Route 1
National Cycle Route 1 ... sounds very impressive ... it runs all the way from Dover to John o' Groats (then, after a ferry through Orkney and Shetland) but for me its just the route which I follow from my office on Union Terrace to this point at the end of The Chanonry where the "National Route" heads off to Shetland up Tillydrone Road while I head down through Seaton Park.
