Journey

These lads were on a journey today, racing through the Welsh countryside on the latest stage of the Tour of Britain Cycle race. Sadly no Welsh stage winner, but it was good to see the British stars of cycling such as Mark Cavendish and Geraint Thomas come across the Brecon Beacons. Unless you've seen these guys in real life, you just don't realise the speed that they're going, they are literally flying. Amazing to see how many people came out to watch them as well, some deliveries from our quarry down the road were inevitably delayed because the police closed off the road as the tour came through.

I took my own first steps on a journey today, where that journey will take me I have no idea but its going to be fun, it's going to be challenging, it's a risk but the opportunities and rewards are too great to miss. I spoke in an earlier blip about the decisions I needed to make, this was one, still need to resolve the qualification decision though.

Journey - Up until the X-Factor and all those reality shows a journey meant a trip in the car, on a bus or on a train, now everyone seems to be going on a journey. Dancing on TV on a Saturday night? You're on a journey! Singing on TV on a Saturday night? You're on a journey! On a diet? You're on a journey!
