Thursday 15 September 2011: A vandalised ancient treasure
Dumbarton prison was demolished in 1973 for a new road which could quite easily have been moved a few yards to accomodate this old building.
Presently Dumbarton people wonder why nobody visits ,if the local authority had put history before "back-handers" we could have had a museum
Only a mini rant today but being retired you come to realise how thoughtless politicians are.
