Friday 16 September 2011: Waiting for the ferry
The weather could not be a greater contrast to yesterday. None the less, the excitement mounts in the Islay ferry queue as we await boarding.
Last night was an interesting evening. We met up with university friends from 35 years ago of our friend, who is up from England for the festival. They are people who have known him even longer than me.
Apologies for doing more or less zero commenting for the next couple of days. Ferry loading. Must run.
