Empty Sky

Today we visited the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. At the Statue of Liberty Park in New Jersey we visited this amazing tribute "Empty Sky" to remember all New Jersey residents that lost their life on 9-11-01, whether in the Twin Towers, the Pentagon or Skanksville PA . The memorial was just dedicated 6 days ago. While I had good photos of the traditional tourist sights, this was very emotional to see and was visually amazing. We found out later that it was just officially dedicated 6 days ago.

And yes, that is the new 1 World Trade Center building under construction that it frames.
